What does Base currency mean?

Base currency is the first one quoted in the currency pair. Its value is determined by the price of the currency quoted against it. (For example, if the EUR/USD currency pair rate is 1.3525, then the euro is the base currency, and it is worth $1.3525).

It is required to have enough margin amount to open a position. I clicked somewhere and lost information on current open transactions, what should I do?

Why do I receive a message about requotes when opening a transaction?

In case of high volatility of financial markets (for example, during a news release), requotes (server’s offers of a new price which is different from the price of your inquiry) are probable at the attempt to open/close a position. What does “Trade Context Busy” mean in MT4 terminal?

It means that you cannot open a new position because only one request at a time can be executed by the platform. If sending several requests the Trade context busy message appears. In case of such messages, you need to restart the platform.

Can I save my settings in MT4 platform?

You can save the MT4 terminal settings you need (delete the charts you don’t need or open the necessary ones), which will be used by default during subsequent authorization. To do this, save the profile that you want to use by default: "File" - "Profiles" - "Save Profile As".

What is the maximum trade volume I can open?

Invalid Stop loss / Take profit message when setting stop level?

Such a message means that you are setting a stop loss / take profit with a slash close to the current price. Stop orders can be set no closer than the spread level for a trading instrument. Please note that for sell orders stop-losses must be set higher than the current market price and take-profit levels must be set lower than the current market price.

Can I use MT5 platform for trading?

I can`t open a deal. New order button is inactive.

You are using investor password and account is in a View mode now. Please log in the MT4 once again, entering Trader password as Password.

Can I receive statement from MT4 platform?

Sure, you need to choose ‘Account History’ section located at the bottom left side of your MT4 platform. Right-click anywhere inside the tab, select the trading period you want and ‘Save as Report’, select specify a save location and click ‘Save’.

What is trailing stop?
